Rising progressive artist Andromedha first appeared on our imprint in 2016, courtesy of Shingo Nakamura's mix on our "Only Silk 04" compilation. That specific underground gem, "Watching The Red Clouds Passing By," is now paired with the brand new "The Hike," both of which officially comprise the Polish talent's debut EP with Silk Music.

The title cut kicks off with a relaxed house groove, which is enveloped in an equally chilled, if not foreboding, after-hours atmosphere. Subtly melodic pads begin to emerge and color the midrange, teasing the radiant themes to arrive soon thereafter. In the main break, the arrangement crescendoes to a thrilling climax, when a rich and resonant new bassline cuts through the mix and gorgeous synth lines euphorically seize the listener.

The B-side, "The Hike," is a thrilling club-friendly alternative to its release counterpart. An uptempo groove and hypnotic lead arpeggio create a rapturous soundscape in the early going. The more "vintage" melodic progressive arrangement takes an unexpected turn in the main break, upon the arrival of a festival-flavored lead synth theme. The jubilant drop to follow strikes a perfect balance between the classical and modern influences of trance & progressive.
